You may remember a while ago I spoke about a company called Enchanted Cinema, a pop up movie company in Cambridge, and over the summer I was lucky enough to go to one of their screenings.
It was an absolutely magical event. We sat beneath the Cambridge evening skies, ate popcorn, snuggled up, and watched Moulin Rouge. You can read the full details of the evening here.
In case they couldn’t get anymore magical, this year Enchanted Cinema are showing CHRISTMAS MOVIES!
You guys know I’m an absolute sucker for the festive season. I love everything about it. The drinks, the family time, the food (obv), the music, and one thing in particular, the movies. As soon as December 1st hits I am all about the Christmas movies. If you want to keep up with which ones I’ve watched so far, I’m putting my Christmas movie checklist up on Twitter:

Anyway, back to the point. Enchanted Cinema are hosting three days worth of festive film showings from the 20th to the 22nd of December.
You’re probably thinking hold on a minute, I don’t fancy watching a Christmas movie outside at this time of year. But that’s where it’s slightly different. They are hosting the screenings in Cambridge’s famous Guildhall buildings.
What better place to watch a festive movie than in a grand hall, it’s almost like something out of Harry Potter!
The guys at Enchanted Cinema have chosen some absolutely cracking films to show, apart from Die Hard – NOT I repeat, NOT a Christmas movie! (An on going argument with Chris and I) You can see the full listing below.
What a perfection selection of movie choices, I think there really is something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for something to do with the family before Christmas, planning a girly festive outing in Cambridge, or looking for something a little romantic, this fits right in.
And this event isn’t just a night at the movies. There will be festive food a plenty with Jo from Afternoon Tease serving cakes and her famous cheese scones (I’ve heard big things!), and Signorellis will be offering Italian food and hot coffee to warm you up whilst you watch.
Hands up if you’re still looking for some Christmas gifts? (Raises hand slowly) the event will host a craft fair with lots of independent traders from lovely Cambridge so you’re bound to stumble across a festive gem perfect to pop under the tree.
I am so excited to go and get super festive at one of these screenings, if you would like more information or want to book tickets you can find everything you need right here.
What is your favourite Christmas movie?!
My favourite Christmas movie has to be Muppet Christmas Carol! It brings up so many lovely childhood memories from when I used to watch it every Christmas Eve, plus who doesn’t love the Muppets anyway?! xx

My boyfriend absolutely loves that film!! I think weβll be watching that soon π
Oh, that is a lovely seasonal selection. There is something magical about watching a movie in a venue or outdoors. It even changes the way you perceive it.
I completely agree! Itβs so festive π
Ahh that venue looks absolutely gorgeous! I’d love to see It’s a Wonderful Life on a big screen again – it’s such a beautiful movie! xx
Iβve never actually seen it! Maybe this year is the year! Xx
